The journey continues....
Thank you for visiting my website.
I enjoyed the privilege of serving as a Napa County Supervisor for 20 years and as a Napa City Council member for 4 years. I am proud of our many accomplishments but am particular pleased with the unique and successful workforce housing program we developed that brings homeownership to our lower income workforce (see below). I am happy to assist others attempting to do the same.
I still strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I am continuing in my efforts to glorify Christ through outreach and helping the less fortunate in Haiti and Africa. I am a member of two different non-profit boards. Their websites are at www.newdawncommunities.org and WCOUS.org.
Perhaps you would like to join me.
Blessings!

Workforce Housing
Workforce housing is an issue that continues to be a problem for those who work in popular communities such as Napa or most any job rich area. We developed a very successful program in Napa County described in the video below. This is a program easily duplicated in any community where its local workforce can no longer afford to live in the same community. It has brought real homeownership to local workers when they could no longer afford to rent. I am happy to visit with anyone wanting to know more. See "Housing" for more information.
Helping Orphans
I have been involved for over a decade helping orphans in Africa and Haiti. While our outreach has many dimensions, one important area that I believe will make a long term difference is in education. We have a vision of "Orphans to Leaders" and I welcome your partnership as we work to make a difference in their lives and communities. I am now a DIrector at New Dawn Communities which runs a high school for orphans in Kenya and in Tanzania. Please see "Outreach to the less fortunate" on this site or visit the New Dawn Website. The following video describes the beginning of New Dawn in Kenya.
